A
B
C
D
E

Which two sections are linked with many of the same ideas and themes?

Which sections are in contrast to each other?

2.9 The Prologue (The Wilderness)

How is this similar to us writing an essay?

READ THE PROLOGUE ALOUD IN CLASS - Mk 1:1-15

What is the key message about Jesus identity?

The Prologue shows that Jesus:

* Jesus will not be distracted from his <<<MISSION and WORK>>>
* He rejects the tempation of EVIL ... comes out of the desert ready to ___________________________.
* This will lead to his ____________!

Got to be real here. This was an absolutely tortuous and cruel way of dying!!!

JESUS DID THIS FOR US - HE DIED FOR US OUT OF HIS ABSOLUTE LOVE FOR US ALL!!!

THE LEAST WE CAN DO IS SHOW LOVE AND RESPECT FOR ALL PEOPLE - FRIENDS, FAMILY, AQUINAS' STUDENTS AND STAFF, NEIGHBOURS, WORK MATES, PEOPLE ON THE STREET, PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP .............

Must finish on a positive happy note!!!!

Let's see Jesus in good times earlier on...
